Holds a BComm from UCD and has worked in Advertising, Financial Services, PR and dotcom companies over the last 20 years including Adsell, American Express and First-e. John has also run a number of his own businesses in recent years and is now charged with establishing MarketSpreads as the go to financial spread trading company in Ireland.

John McNicholl

Finance Director
John is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years experience. John joined from Johnston Press Ireland having previously held senior roles with Eircom and Smurfit Group. John has worked in head office, divisional and operating roles within these companies.

Graham Foster

Customer Service and IT Manager
Joined MarketSpreads in 2011 to head up customer service and IT. Graham has a diploma in IT from Cape Peninsula University of Technology and has worked for Norwich Life South Africa before coming to Ireland in 2001. His role is to ensure that clients receive the highest level of customer satisfaction. Graham spent the previous 7 years managing IT and customer service in the medical transcription industry.

Phelim Morgan

Client Service
Has many years' experience working in Client Services including MarketSpreads since joining the company in 2005. He takes care of the demo spread betting platform liaising with people learning about how to trade the markets.

Micheál Dooley

Business Development Executive
Joined MarketSpreads in 2011 and works on the business development team. Micheál holds a BA (Hons) in Business and Marketing from Brunel University and is also a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA). Over the past 10 years Micheál has been both employed and self employed in different areas of the Irish personal finance Industry.

Dr. Mark Perry

Risk Manager
Risk Analyst with responsibility for assessing and managing the firm's trading risk. Mark worked as a Research Associate at The Statistics Dept, London School of Economics. He holds a BAI (Hons) in Electrical Engineering & Mathematics from Trinity, MPhil and PhD degrees from University of Cambridge where he studied Mathematical Modelling. Mark joined MarketSpreads in 2008.

Beata Golec

Beata joined MarketSpreads in 2010 and works for the Compliance department. Beata has a Diploma in English Philology (2007) from State Higher Vocational School in Tarnow, Poland.

She has worked in the customer services area in a range of different client focused & administrative roles in both Poland and Ireland.

David Lynch

Senior Trader
Joined in 2005 after a stint in the US working as a trader and marketmaker in equities and derivative products. David has over 20 years experience in financial markets including a number of years in Dublin's stockbroking community and holds a BBS (Hons) degree from Trinity.

Mark Murnane

Head of Sales Trading
Has 10 years' experience in financial markets having worked with MarketSpreads for 5 years before joining Merrion Stockbrokers as a Senior Portfolio Manager for a further 5 years. Has a BA in Economics from Trinity and is a Registered Representative of the ISE.

Kieran Conway

Sales Trader
From Kilkenny, Kieran joined MarketSpreads in 2007 as a dealer. He also gives regular tutorials for new clients. Kieran previously worked in the Treasury Dept. in Anglo Irish Bank in Boston. He has also worked in the newspaper industry and has wide, international experience in the financial markets.

Sean Crotty

Sales Trader
Graduated from WIT with a Bachelor in Business Studies specialising in Economics & Finance. Sean joined MarketSpreads in January 2006 having previously worked with a large investment bank and an investment house in Australia.

Jonathan O’Brien

Sales Trader
Joined in 2010 after three years working in OTC Equity Derivatives for Merrill Lynch in London. He previously worked for JPMorgan in Dublin & holds a BA (Hons) in Business & Economics from Trinity.
