How to fund your account

Other Methods of Deposit
Bank Transfers
You can make a deposit to your trading account by transferring funds to the MarketSpreads client segregated funds bank account. The bank account that you are transferring from must be in your name.
Instructions for Bank Transfers
Please use your MarketSpreads account number as a reference code on your bank transfer transaction. When you have made your transfer, please email info@marketspreads.ie or call 1890 252 102 stating the following:
- The amount you have transferred
- Your full name
- Your MarketSpreads trading account number
- The date that you transferred on
Please be aware that it can take 2-3 working days at least to transfer funds using this method.
Cheque Transfers
To transfer funds by cheque, simply post directly to our offices at 77 Sir John Rogerson's Quay, Dublin 2, Ireland. We do not accept bank drafts.
Instructions for cheque transfers
- Please make the cheque out to MarketSpreads Ltd from your own personal bank account.
- The date on the cheque should be dated the day you send it.
- Please sign your name and write your MarketSpreads account number on the back of the cheque.
- When you have sent the cheque, please email info@marketspreads.ie or call us on 1890 252 102 stating the following:
- The amount the cheque is for
- Your full name
- Your MarketSpreads trading account number
- The date you sent the cheque
Please note the funds will be credited to your MarketSpreads account when the cheque has cleared in our bank account.
How to withdraw funds from your account
MarketSpreads is very flexible in offering withdrawal methods to suit your needs. Live account holders simply click on the My account' section to request a withdrawal from their accounts to either Card, Bank account or Cheque and our finance team will deal with the request as soon as possible.
Please note that all withdrawal requests should be submitted no later than 2PM Monday to Friday to be processed on the same day.
We require copies of Credit Card statements to facilitate transfers to cards registered in the clients name and it can take 2-3 working days at least to transfer funds using this method. The name on the card should match the name on the Live account. Funds can be transferred to the following card types:
We require copies of bank statements to facilitate transfers to bank accounts and it can take 2-3 working days at least to transfer funds using this method. The nominated bank account name should match your MarketSpreads account name.
Cheque TransfersCheque withdrawal requests will be processed by post to the clients' home address only.
